The USCG announced the release of E-NOA/D Schema 3.5 on May 26th, and at the same time, submissions using templates prior to Schema 3.3 will no longer be accepted. Additionally, it was announced that the “E-NOA/D template for Infopath” will no longer be released. The successor will be the Excel-based “E-NOA/D Workbook Ver.7.5”.
We have summarized the key points regarding this matter for your review.
Regarding E-NOA/D Workbook Ver.7.5
This is an Excel file and can be used with Excel 2000 or later. The file size is 1.7 MB. Unlike the Infopath version, you will attach and send the completed Excel file directly. Please note that the file size will be larger than before when sending.
Compression for sending is allowed, but the only permitted compression format is ZIP.
You can download it from the following link:

For vessels currently using Template for Infopath 6.3.0
Template 6.3.0 is compatible with Schema 3.4. Therefore, you can continue to submit applications with this for the time being. While you can also use the Excel Workbook version, the communication costs are lower when sending from the Template. It’s not too late to switch to the Excel version once submission with Schema 3.5 becomes mandatory.
we will set up the Excel version (Workbook 7.5) from now on.
For vessels using older versions of Infopath
Please update to the latest version 6.3.0 or use the Excel version (Workbook 7.5).
Regarding the shipment of the Workbook to the vessel
The Workbook has a file size of 1.7 MB. When sending via email, please be aware of file size and mailbox size limitations.
Regarding email submissions from the vessel
Only ZIP compression is allowed for sending. However, with ORCA mail, even if uncompressed, the email software compresses the file during sending, so it is recommended to attach and send it as is.
