Microsoft is releasing Windows 11 in October, 2021. Basically,
the existing Windows’s feature will continue to work but for shipping companies
that are considering the implementation of Windows 11,
please kindly note the following points.
(1) Each application and system support
Please be sure to check applications, devices and systems used are compatible
with Windows 11 when you implement Windows 11 PC onboard.
Please contact the provider of each application, system and device for Windows 11 compatibility.
We place on record the applications we provide are compatible with Windows 11 as follows:
・ORCA SYSTEM（Windows Version）
・ORCA SYSTEM（Cloud Edition）
・ICE（Cloud Edition）
・Each application available on ORION CLOUD
(2) Mixed onboard network of Windows 10 and Windows 11
We believe that there should be no problem mixing Windows 10 PC
with Windows 11 PC in the same network as long as the compatibility issues
described in (1) are cleared.
We understand that each company has their own cyber security policy and
we hope they will conduct risk assessment.
(3) PC arrangement
We are expected to arrange both Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC after the release
of Windows 11 for some time.
